Unit Details:
Infusion is provided in a separate clinic; there is no infusion at this clinic.
Outpatient clinic setting for medical and surgical oncology, with new and return patient visits and patients seen before, during or after treatment, including follow-up, pre-op and post-op care.
Work includes managing and responding to patient messages through the electronic in-basket; providing education related to oncology diagnoses, treatment plans, medications and follow-up care; telephone triage with follow-up or escalation; care coordination for tests, referrals, appointments and other plan-of-care needs; assisting providers during clinic visits; documentation; and collaboration with the multidisciplinary oncology team.
Oncology ambulatory clinics service medical and surgical oncology patients across disease teams including Neuro, GI, GU, Endocrine, Melanoma, Liver, Pain, Palliative, Sarcoma, Head & Neck, and Neuro Spine.
Assignments are focused on the disease team where needs lie rather than covering all listed teams.
Adult and geriatric patient population.
Shift & Scheduling:
No weekend requirement.
Floating Requirements:
May float between specialties.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
