Additional Details:
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to circulate C-sections.
Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.
Unit Details: Adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population. Critical access hospital and ambulatory surgical center surgical services setting. Cases include OBGYN, ortho, GI/GS, ENT, pain, C-sections, and dental. Coverage includes Pre-op, circulating, PACU, and Endo, with assignment to OR and PACU Phase I and II as needed. May follow the patient from pre-op through discharge if required. Expected ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:4.
Shift & Scheduling: On-call is variable on weekends and nights, 8 shifts/month, including a 3-day weekend call Fri, Sat, Sun. Every 3rd or 4th weekend depending on rotation and time off requests. Weekend and holiday coverage is on-call only. This is a 5 day/week 8 hr per shift position. 4 days/week, 10 hr days could be a possibility.
Floating Requirements: Float within surgical services and may assist other departments within scope.
