Additional Information
Unit Details:
- May be assigned to PACU and Phase 2 recovery.
- Works in pain management and eye laser procedure rooms.
- Assists with nerve blocks and uses anesthesia supplies, crash cart, malignant hyperthermia cart, and emergency medications.
- Handles transfers to the medical center when needed.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Variable start 0600-0700 Mon-Fri; no weekends, holidays, or call.
Floating Requirements:
- May function as a float nurse across all areas of the surgical center to support workflow and relieve staff for breaks and lunches.
