Preferred Skills/Experience:
1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
Perinatal RN residency or recent practice in a perinatal setting is preferred.
Special Requests:
Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained.
Unit Details:
Cases include deliveries, circulating C-sections, antepartum patients, and initial newborn assessments.
Patient ratios follow AWHONN standards: 1:1 on Pitocin for induction or augmentation; 1:2 for cervical ripening (Cytotec or low dose Pitocin); 1:2-3 for antepartum patients, depending on acuity; 1:2-3 for triage; and 1:1 for immediate postpartum (2 hours postbirth) for mother and baby.
Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend shifts required.
No call.
