Travel Nurse (RN) - Wound / Ostomy Care

Required Skills/Experience:

• Required skills include wound care, dressing changes, wrapping wounds, wound vacs, drains, wet-to-dry dressings, and wound packing.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Casting experience preferred.

Special Requests:

• RTO requests must go through the manager.

Unit Details:

• The unit sees an average of 35-50 patients per day.
• The patient population is adult.
• Common diagnoses and care areas include diabetes, vascular diseases, reduced blood flow to extremities, pre/post-surgical care, frostbite, burns, podiatry wounds, post-amputation care, and hyperbaric care.
• Uses Intellacare for wound care specifics.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Monday-Friday schedule.
• No call.
• Holidays are closed.
• The schedule is set.
