Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities. Exceptions include: Periop/OR RNs, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Required Skills/Experience: Will consider >2 years of experience if the candidate has at least 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience. Circulate required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Scrub preferred.

Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Core 3 & 4 cases include general, plastic, GYN, ENT, trauma, neuro and ortho, GU, and colorectal robotics.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday - Friday with call and/or holidays. Call required: 6 call shifts in a 6 week period- can vary. Must work 2/3 major holidays.

Floating Requirements: OR RNs need to be well rounded and current in most areas except CV & Transplant as they will be floated where needed.
