Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.
Required Skills/Experience: Impella, IABP, and LVAD experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: NxStage experience preferred.
Required Credentials: Driver's license required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Pharmacology Exam required; minimum 80% score with only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Specialty Exam required; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score with only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension EKG Exam required; minimum 80% score with only 2 attempts allowed.
Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates must have at least 6 months of employment separation to be considered for a travel position. To receive travel rate, claimed residence must match the address on the driver's license.
Unit Details: Cares for both cardiac medical ICU patients and cardiothoracic/vascular surgery ICU patients.
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
