Required Skills/Experience: 1+ years of Stepdown/ Tele experience
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Leadership experience such as Charge RN or preceptor preferred.
Preferred Credentials:
- BSN preferred.
Unit Details:
- Cares for patients with acute MI, cardiac arrhythmias, cardiomyopathy, CHF, and other low-risk cardiac/chest pain diagnoses.
- Provides general medical services for patients requiring cardiac monitoring, including cardiology, renal, endocrinology, general medicine, pulmonology, gastroenterology, and oncology.
- Dedicated stroke unit.
- Uses non-invasive positive pressure ventilation including Bi-PAP, C-PAP, and A-PAP.
- Provides infusion therapy, transfusions, injections, and central line care.
- Patient care assistants support ADLs, point-of-care glucose testing, and 12-lead EKGs.
