Travel Nurse (RN) - Neurology Unit

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience with the NIH Scale and proficiency in caring for other neurology diagnoses are important.
If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations.

Required Credentials:
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests:
Assignment length may be 13 or 26 weeks.
RTO must be listed at time of submission.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details:
Designated stroke unit with thrombectomy-capable JCAHO designation.
Spine Center of Excellence with JCAHO designation.
NAEC Level 3 Epilepsy Center.
Patient population includes neuroscience, neurology, neurosurgical, and telemetry cases.

Shift & Scheduling:
Thanksgiving and New Year's may be off, but Christmas typically needs more support.
No call.
Every other weekend is required.
Flexible contract hours: 48 per week are approved.

Floating Requirements:
Floating between units is required to meet unit needs.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
