Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Postpartum and circulating experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Triage experience strongly preferred.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Previous facility employment exceptions must be approved by St. Luke's Health System.
Unit Details: Uses Epic and GE Connect. AWHONN standards; primarily 1:1 in L&D and 1:6 couple care in postpartum. Includes circulating for C-sections. Patient population includes laboring patients 32 weeks and greater, elective and medical inductions of labor, stable antepartum patients, postpartum patients, and well newborns. Titrates Pitocin per protocol, magnesium, and rarely insulin.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirements based on unit needs. Holiday requirements based on unit needs. Cannot work more than five shifts in a row. No call or standby requirement.
Floating Requirements: First to float. Required to float to like units within the valley, including Nampa L&D and Boise L&D; may also float as a sitter in Med Surg or ED. All sites are within app 20 mins, notice is given prior to shift, and true floating to a separate location is rare.
