Additional Details:

If a BSN degree is the highest level of education verify the graduation date and upload a copy of your diploma to your credentials.

Required Credentials:

  • A graduate of post-secondary educational program in health science (includes, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, or paramedic/EMT) as defined by ARRT or CCI.
  • Completion of JRCERT accredited Military Educational Program is accepted in lieu of other educational requirements.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Clinicians should have strong Trauma Level 1 experience and/or be willing to work with difficult cases.

Unit Details:

  • OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center is Oklahoma’s only Level I Trauma Center.
  • Assists Physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose, monitor and treat simple to complex conditions without surgery.
  • Procedures include cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, angiography, device implantation, biopsies, thrombectomy, embolization and pain management.
  • Acts as a scrub tech while assisting Providers during procedures.
  • Transfers images and data to the appropriate electronic health system, enters technical data/findings and prepares the study for reporting by physician.
  • May support teaching of students in the radiologic program and may serve as a departmental preceptor to instruct and mentor new or less experienced team members.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • On-call clinical coverage outside regularly scheduled duty hours on weekdays, weekends and holidays as assigned, approximately 8-10 shifts per month.

Floating Requirements:

  • Travelers will be first to float.
