Travel Nurse (RN) - Intermediate Care Unit

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Unit Details:

• Patient ratios: 1:4/5 on days, 1:5/6 on nights.
• May be assigned medical patients with transfer orders waiting for a bed.
• Occasionally could be a 1:1 sitter or utilized as helping hands.
• Patient population includes complex medical patients such as ETOH, CVA, and sepsis.
• Includes wound care, wound vac, antibiotic therapy, IV starts, neuro assessment, and restraints.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend or less, depending on unit needs.
• Holidays as assigned.
• Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hours.

Floating Requirements:

• Float to inpatient units.
