Required Skills/Experience: Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.
Unit Details: Level IV NICU caring for prematurity (22-36 weeks), HIE, neurological disorders (seizures, hydrocephalus, neural tube defects), cardiac lesions (PDA, Tet, Coarct, Truncus), respiratory issues (RDS, TTN, BPD), renal conditions including hydronephrosis, GI issues (GI reflux, NEC, Hirschsprung's), tracheostomies, GI ostomies, and anomalies (TEF, CDH). Occasional bedside surgeries including PDA ligation, chest tubes, and Penrose drains.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holidays as needed.
Floating Requirements: May float to PICU and be assigned a similar patient population to the NICU.
