Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Special Requests: Current/previous employee eligibility: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers. Can only apply to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system. Previous permanent candidates must be away for 2 years. Previous travelers who worked there for 1 full year must be away for 2 years. Travel pairs must be submitted together.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Above-average experience with cerebrals, coilings, kyphoplasty, spine work, stroke therapy, and carotid stenting preferred.
Unit Details: Primarily Neuro IR, with coverage in Body/Vascular IR as well. Performs 20-30 cases per day, depending on provider coverage. Body/Vascular IR rooms use Canon equipment. Neuro rooms use Siemens Artis Q and Siemens Iconos. GE ultrasound is used in all rooms.
Shift & Scheduling: On-call 1-2 shifts during the week, every 3rd or 4th weekend, with possible holiday call. Call back time: 30-45 minutes.
