Preferred Skills/Experience:
Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Required Credentials:
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests:
RTO must be listed at time of submission.
Time off is approved on an individual basis upon offer.
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Assignment length may vary: 13 or 26 weeks.
Unit Details:
Adolescent and adult patient population.
High-risk labor and delivery/antepartum unit with OB triage and testing.
Procedures include cervical cerclage, cesarean, hysterectomy, and D&C.
Average daily deliveries around 7, often up to 14 patients with inductions and high-risk antepartum.
OB triage averages 4-5 third trimester testing patients, plus daily triage volume.
Shift & Scheduling:
Night shifts: 3x12 or 4x12.
No call.
Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements:
If needed, may float to like units.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
