Required Skills/Experience: In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you’re applying to. 2+ previously completed travel assignments in L&D required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Circulating for cesarean preferred.
Required Credentials: Must be able to pass an EKG.
Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit. If multiple shifts are posted, only apply to your preferred shift. Block scheduling may be accommodated if weekend shift is met.
Unit Details: Scope includes labor, circulating for vaginal delivery, attending deliveries to support newborn resuscitation, recovering vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and providing care to antepartum patients requiring care in L&D. Monitor and assist laboring patients, communicate with providers, circulate in OR for c/s, and competently triage 20 weeks and up. Uses CPN (GE). Patient ratio: 1:1 or 1:2 depending.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Call requirements: 2 12hr call shifts per every 6 weeks (one must be a weekend shift).
Floating Requirements: Floating required between departments in the Women's Pavilion.
