Required Skills/Experience:
If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.
General Med-Surg skills include chest tubes, trachs, PICC/midlines/central lines (RNs will collect from a central line if needed), Foley catheters, NG tubes, dressing changes, wound vacs, ostomies, and telemetry.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Pediatric and psychiatric experience preferred, not required.

Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will NOT be considered.
You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility.
Unit Details:
Patient population includes adults, post-surgical patients, stroke, oncology, CHF, COPD, respiratory issues, gastrointestinal issues, orthopedic patients (including total joints), and COVID patients. Clinicians with pediatric experience may be utilized with pediatric patients, and chemotherapy experience is not required.
A total-care assignment or acting as a CNA may occur very rarely.
Shift & Scheduling:
Night shift times are 7p-7a.
Every other weekend rotation.
No call.
Floating Requirements:
Float assignments may include 2EW, 2NW, 3EW, 3NW, the 5th floor, and the ER for Med-Surg holds.
