Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • 2 years’ experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high-volume >100,000 visit ED.
  • Previous HCA experience preferred.

Unit Details:

  • Patient ratios: 4:1 typically for medical patients, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds.
  • Support staff includes techs in the cardiac monitoring unit, internal processing area, and triage, plus unit clerks on days and nights.
  • Uses Baxter pumps and GE monitors.
  • Works across all sections of the ED.
  • Serves a multicultural community with more than 120 languages in the surrounding zip code.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Every other weekend; scheduling must meet the needs of the department.

Floating Requirements:

  • No floating outside the ED; must float to all sections within the ED.

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
