Preferred Skills/Experience: PACU experience preferred. Experience with Olympus scopes and reprocessing preferred. Endo experience with circulating and tech procedures preferred.
Unit Details: Patient ratios: Intra-op team of 2: 1 patient; pre/post op 1 RN: 2 patients. Uses Olympus endoscopes and reprocessing. Typical procedures include EGD/Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and EBUS. Includes infection control, manual cleaning, and high-level disinfection of endoscopes. Staff perform basic and interventional/therapeutic procedures on high-acuity patients with highly specialized and trained physicians.
Shift & Scheduling: 2 shifts a month will be 6A to 530P for opening shifts. Call is 3 or 4 weeknight shifts a month Monday thru Thursday 530P to 7A 13.5 hours and 1 Friday a month 530P to 11P and 1 to 2 weekend shifts a month on Saturday from 11P to 7A on Sunday and Monday morning.
