All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. Local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract.
Unit Details: Pediatric unit is located within the Post Partum Unit. Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatric/adolescent, and postpartum adult patients. Pediatric patients may include asthma, bronchiolitis, other upper respiratory infections, suicidal ideation, other psychiatric issues, simple post-surgical cases (appy, T & A, etc.), failure to thrive, jaundice, and non-accidental trauma. Postpartum patients may include vaginal and C-section.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. 4 weekend shifts per contract. No call.
Floating Requirements: Float between like units to Post Partum and Special Care Nursery.
