Travel Nurse (RN) - Post Anesthesia Care Unit

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: Infusion therapy required.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details: Preop area and PACU phase I and phase II. Adolescent, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient population. All outpatient surgeries, including general, orthopedic, and urology; all patients go home.

Shift & Scheduling: Start times vary by assigned area, starting at 0600 and staggering until 0830. Variable shifts, but mainly 8:30. Monday-Friday. No weekends, no holidays, no call. Must be flexible to meet department needs. Nurses scheduled for PACU are expected to stay and finish the day; outpatient surgery does not have shift relief. RTO restrictions: No more than 7 days.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
