Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.
Required Credentials:
Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of at least 80%, only two attempts permitted, and the exam must be updated every 3 years.
Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization, only two attempts allowed, and the exam must be updated every 3 years in the specialty.
Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; covers HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics; minimum passing score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization, and only two attempts allowed.
If fetal monitoring is not covered on the competency exam, AWHONN, Relias, or another program completed within the past 2 years is required during onboarding.
Special Requests:
Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license.
