Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of Staff RN experience in a dedicated CVPICU/Pediatric CICU open-heart setting.
Previous travel experience is required, but candidates without travel experience will be considered if they have 2-4 years' experience and Epic experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
VAD (ventricular assist device) experience preferred.
Preferred Credentials:
BSN preferred. Will consider ASN with 3 years of experience, provided the candidate has extensive experience in pediatric cardiac critical care.
Special Requests:
RTO blackout dates: 11/25-11/27, 12/23-12/26, 12/30-1/2.
No RTO will be approved during the first two weeks of the assignment.
Shift & Scheduling:
Rotating day/night shifts are scheduled from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM per unit needs; straight nights at 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM may also be considered.
Total RTO is limited to 4 days or less.
Weekend requirement: up to 75% of scheduled shifts.
Must be available to work 2 of the 3 holidays.
No call.
Floating Requirements:
Float within Children's Hospital Colorado Anschutz Campus as needed.
The client may float or reassign clinicians to other areas of practice within their clinical competency to fulfill scheduled hours.
