Required Skills/Experience:
2 years of pediatric experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience with level 3 autism preferred.
Unit Details:
Patients range from ages 5 to 18 and have a wide variety of psychiatric diagnoses, including psychosis, major depression, suicidality, attention-deficit disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, catatonia and autism.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
Holidays as needed by the unit.
On-call: Two 8-hour (2300-0700) shifts per schedule.
Floating Requirements:
Will rotate between the pediatric acute inpatient unit and psych patients in the Pediatric Emergency Room.
Work on both inpatient 12S and the psych pod in the Pediatric Emergency Department; float as needed to an area of like skill set.
