Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
1 year of Emergency Department experience in a Level 1 trauma facility or 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma facility only.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Trauma/pediatric experience, experience in a department seeing 200+ patients per day, and high-acuity experience are preferred.
Special Requests:
RTO must be made up on the back end.
RTO will not be approved in the first week of assignment.
Holiday RTO: only 1 request per assignment.
Unit Details:
Patient population spans all age groups.
The ED handles trauma, stroke, STEMI, and burn cases.
Patient ratios are routinely 4:1 but may vary during surges and other circumstances; ratios are not guaranteed.
Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Weekends are as required by the facility.
No call.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
