Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Special Requests:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population.
Procedures include CABG, valve replacement/repair, ECMO procedures including insertion/decannulation, left atrial appendage clipping, ascending aortic aneurysm repair/replacement with graft, and Impella 5.5 insertion/removal.
Patient population includes coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation, myocarditis, aortic stenosis, mitral valve prolapse, tricuspid valve regurgitation, heart failure, pulmonary failure, and cardiac tumor.
Shift & Scheduling:
Call required; call is split amongst CV staff, approx 14 per month, including weekend call.
Floating Requirements:
Floating required to Vascular and General.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
