Required Skills/Experience:
Candidates must have 2-3 years of experience in the specialty.
Must be able to read and interpret telemetry.
Special Requests:
Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Holiday RTO will be considered, however it cannot be guaranteed.
Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule.
Holidays are worked into the permanent staff rotation.
Floating Requirements:
First to float; may float to Telemetry at a 1:4 ratio and between Med-Surg floors.
Unit Details:
Portable telemetry boxes may be used as needed.
Hospitalist coverage is in house 24/7; respiratory therapy and pharmacy are available 24/7; there is no IV team.
The unit has no ventilated patients.
Common diagnoses include hips, knees, shoulders, and spine; there are no drips.
