Required Skills/Experience:
C-section experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Scrubbing experience preferred.
Special Requests:
Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details:
The unit handles 250 births per month.
Patient ratios are 2:1 for laboring patients and 1:4 for couplet care.
Patients may be of any gestational age and include antepartum and high-risk deliveries, substance use, preeclampsia, and insulin-dependent diabetes.
The clinician will circulate for C-sections.
Uses the Fetal Link fetal heart monitoring system and Philips telemetry.
No ventilators or IV team are available.
An OB/neonatologist is not in-house but available if needed.
Respiratory therapy and pharmacy are available 24/7.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
No call; may have to be on standby.
Holiday coverage is part of the permanent staff rotation.
Floating Requirements:
The clinician is first to float every other weekend.
The clinician will float to Postpartum; Postpartum nurses will not float to Labor & Delivery.
