Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. RTO must be requested upfront and is limited to 7 or fewer days per 13 week contract. Additional RTO will not be approved after submission. Block schedule may be considered based on unit needs.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to read and interpret strips.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patients with cardiac caths, EP studies, pacers, ETOH, Covid BiPAP, occasional general surgical patients with cardiac history, medical patients with cardiac history, pneumonia, acute-on-chronic conditions, influenza, and sepsis. More of a tele/cardiac unit. RNs are required to titrate drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, Lasix, and low-dose Dopamine; no Levo. BiPAP, trachs, and Airvo. Tele portable monitors and in-room monitors, with a monitor tech at the nurses station. Patient ratios: 1:4-5, occasional 5-6 on nights; PCU level care overflow on the unit 1:3.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other holiday. Flexible contract hours: 48 per week.

Floating Requirements: First to float. Float to all areas as helping hands; PCU for a full PCU patient load; MS for a full patient assignment; some ER holds/boarding.
