Travel Allied (Radiation Therapist) - Radiation Therapy

Required Skills/Experience: Candidates with 1 year of experience may be considered depending on the type of experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Mosaiq and/or Varian experience preferred. TrueBeam experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Roles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date.

Special Requests: Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying. You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit and shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit and facility. Travel pairs: If you are in a relationship, EMMC will not schedule you on the same days. If you are not in a relationship, you can be scheduled for the same days if not on the same shift/unit. Managers will not guarantee the same schedule for travel pairs. RTO is subject to manager approval.

Unit Details: Uses Mosaiq EMR, three Varian TrueBeam linacs, and 1 Siemens Somatom Go Open Pro CT simulator. Care areas include outpatient and inpatient. Primarily adult/geriatric patients with very few pediatric patients. Approximately 90 patients per day across three linacs.

Shift & Scheduling: No weekends. No call. Holidays are done in rotation with other techs. Schedules are planned in 4-week blocks to the best of ability. Specific shift will vary based on need.

Floating Requirements: As needed covering linacs.
