Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: General ED skillset including cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical care drips, vent management, chest tubes, PIV starts, TNK/TPA administration, conscious sedation, and ESI assessments.
Special Requests: RTO can be approved up to 6 days, excluding holidays; time must be added to the end of the contract if contracted hours cannot be met.
Unit Details: Community ED that is not trauma designated, not a chest pain center, and not a stroke center. Common presentations include COPD, CHF, chest pain, MI, N-STEMI, stroke, TIA, new onset cardiac arrhythmia, and minor trauma.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call. Travelers will work 75% of holidays.
Floating Requirements: Will float per region needs within scope of practice to Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, any freestanding ED within the region, and Central Division (CMC Main, CMC Mercy, Levine Children's Hospital).
