Special Requests:
Past UPH FTE or PRN float pool employees cannot work travel in another market if they currently work there or have worked there within the past 12 months. If they previously worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply.
Unit Details:
Types of patients/surgeries: prostatectomy, mastectomy, abdominal surgeries, thyroidectomy, etc.
Heparin drips administered.
General medical/surgical floor caring for post-op patients who require overnight stays.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
No call.
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Floating Requirements:
Float to other Med/Surg Tele units is required.
May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
