Required Skills/Experience:
Must be competent in dysrhythmia.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Swallow screen preferred.
Neuro experience is ideal.
Unit Details:
The assignment is on the 8 Rose floor.
The unit is neuro-medical-surgical.
The patient population is adult.
Common diagnoses and treatments include CVA, TIA, inability to ambulate, seizure, common urinary conditions, common respiratory conditions, and rare cardiac conditions.
Equipment includes Mindray vital sign machines, GE EKG, and cardiac monitors.
Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend scheduling is 2 of 4 weekends per schedule, or 4 of the 8 weekend shift days; candidates preferring straight weekends may be hired.
Must be available for holidays as decided during phone screening.
Floating Requirements:
Floating may be required if needed, but is rare.
