Travel Nurse (RN) - Dialysis Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• 24 months of dialysis experience including inpatient experience.
• Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current dialysis experience.
• Tele reads & measure experience required.
• Experience using Fresenius machines required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis preferred.
• Acute dialysis experience

Special Requests:

• Past UnityPoint Health employees who worked as FTE or PRN for the UPH float pool cannot work travel in another market if they currently work there or have worked there within the past 12 months. This does not apply to prior UPH travel employees.

Unit Details:

• Patient types include remote tele and ICU patients requiring dialysis, including AKI and ESRD.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekday schedule Monday-Friday.
• Holiday rotation.
• Unless the unit is closed, required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).
• Minimal call rotation: Mon-Fri, 1900-2200; Saturday, 1900-0700; Sunday, 0700-1900 or 1900-0600.

Floating Requirements:

• Traveler will be required to float across all campuses: Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Iowa Lutheran.

Previous Employment Requirements:

• Any past employee of UPH whether FTE, or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another Market no matter which facility they currently work at, or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply
