Required Skills/Experience:
2 years of experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of experience in the field of specialty.
All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance. ICU and ED RNs will also be required to take an on-site test in addition to the online pre-test.
Required Credentials:
Associate degree in nursing required.
Unit Details:
CSICU cares primarily for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and other surgical conditions requiring critical care.
Care focuses on postoperative recovery and complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring.
CSU is a stepdown unit focused on the care and recovery of patients after cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery.
Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Holidays as required.
Every other weekend.
