Travel Nurse (RN) - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must be comfortable with high-frequency oscillators and ventilators.
ECMO level 3 or higher experience is not required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Cooling experience preferred.

Special Requests:
Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details:
This is a Level 3 NICU.
Patient population includes infants 23 weeks and older, including feeders and growers.
PICU ratios are 1:1 or 1:2; pediatric ratios are 1:1 or 1:4 and may be lower.
Philips telemetry is used, but nurses are not required to read it.
Equipment includes oscillators, Dräger ventilators, CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
Two major holidays are required.
Standby call may be required at times due to low census.
The schedule is primarily self-scheduled.

Floating Requirements:
The clinician is first to float.
The clinician floats from NICU to Nursery and Peds; Mother-Baby floating is not typical and is limited to clinicians with Mother-Baby experience. Pediatric experience is treated leniently.
