Preferred Skills/Experience:
Burn experience preferred.
CRRT training preferred.
Hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
Proficiency in hemodynamic drip titration preferred.
Unit Details:
Patient ratios vary by acuity; adult patients only.
Procedures include debridement, dressing changes, line insertion, chest tube insertion and maintenance, and postoperative procedural care.
Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, Hill-Rom beds and call light system, and GE cardiac monitoring equipment.
Uses AirStrip for cardiac rhythms.
Uses iMobile phones to communicate with providers and staff.
A hyperbaric chamber is available.
The unit has mixed-acuity patients at ICU, PCU, telemetry, and med-surg levels; patients remain in the unit from admission through discharge regardless of level of care.
Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 48 per week is an option.
3 weekend shifts in a 4-week scheduling period.
Floating Requirements:
Float to like units (ICU, PCU, and CCU); agency staff float first when needed.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
