Required Skills/Experience:
Required skills include MS/Tele, telemetry, management of dysrhythmias, telemetry remote monitoring, use of rapid response teams, blood product administration, phlebotomy, starting IVs, and non-invasive airway management.
EKG skill 3/4.
Special Requests:
Assignment dates are firm: 11/2/2026-2/27/2027.
A maximum of 7 days of RTO may be automatically approved outside the blackout dates (Nov22-Nov30 and Dec 21-Jan4).
Holiday RTO will likely not be approved.
An interview may not be available prior to offer.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details:
Patient population includes telemetry, surgical overflow, renal, trauma, and oncology; travelers do not administer active chemotherapy.
Shift & Scheduling:
Expected to be scheduled for 2 out of the 3 major holidays; the unit will schedule based on the holidays needing the most support.
Floating Requirements:
Float to Alameda Hospital and San Leandro if a critical need arises, with 4-6 hours' notice before the shift; no mid-shift floating.
Will float to 3 campuses for MS/Tele needs, including PCU, Stepdown/Med-Surg, and ED at the Tele level of care.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
