No block schedule requests; 48-hour scheduling can be considered but is not guaranteed.
Unit Details:
The assignment is on a blended ICU/CVICU floor.
Equipment includes Baxter pumps.
The patient population includes adults and geriatric patients.
Common diagnoses and treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A-fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR and TVAR.
Shift & Scheduling:
Must work all holidays.
On-call is required.
Floating Requirements:
Float to the Intermediate Care Unit as the primary RN and to ED holding for admitted patients holding in the ED, as needed.
