Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty.
Required Credentials: No temp licenses accepted. All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance. ICU and ED RNs will also be required to take an on-site test in addition to the online pre-test. Associated degree in nursing
Unit Details: Primarily cares for acute and chronic respiratory conditions. Predominantly respiratory patients requiring treatment for pneumonia, shortness of breath, COPD, and other lung diseases; also cares for medical patients with GI issues, diabetes, and occasional stroke and surgical patients. Daily interdisciplinary rounds. Nurse-patient ratios: 1:6 on the respiratory unit and 1:4 in the respiratory step-down area.
Shift & Scheduling: Holidays as required. Every other weekend. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
