Special Requests: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you are applying to. Must take a full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location. Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether the facility was a teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Required Skills/Experience: Compounding, order entry, and order verification experience required. Pyxis experience required.
Unit Details: Covers the inpatient pharmacy department and supports all inpatient operations, including ER, ICU, inpatient, infusion center, and oncology center. Will work with and supervise pharmacy technicians. Uses Pyxis ADC stocked for floor medication dispensing.
Shift & Scheduling: No self-scheduling; schedule must be followed once written. Every 3rd weekend; may be more frequent until staff stability is achieved. Holidays as they fall in the rotation. On-call required: rotating every 3 weeks with 1 week of call and 1 weekend. Call is from 5 pm to 6 am Monday through Friday, Friday to Saturday 5 pm to 7 am, Saturday to Sunday 5 pm to 7 am, and Sunday to Monday 5 pm to 6 am; may be more frequent until staff stability is achieved.
