Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
Three years’ experience in Labor and Delivery.
Three years’ experience in Nursery.
Three years’ experience in Med-Surg (Medical-Surgical).
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Baby Friendly experience preferred.
Proficiency with Meditech, or comparable EMR documentation, preferred.
Special Requests:
Block scheduling is available upon request.
Unit Details:
The primary RN role covers Maternal Child Health: Labor & Delivery, Newborn Nursery, Level II Nursery, Mother-Baby, and GYN patients.
Shift & Scheduling:
Every third weekend required.
Flexible contract hours: 48 per week offered upon request.
Floating Requirements:
The RN may float to other hospital areas as a resource, as directed by hospital leadership or the House Supervisor; when floated, the RN follows the guidance of the Charge Nurse or RN in the assigned department and maintains the same high standards of care and safety within scope of practice.
