Travel Allied (Respiratory Therapist) - Respiratory Unit

Required Skills/Experience:
Draeger Vent experience is required.
Teaching hospital experience is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
NICU experience is preferred.
Avea Vent experience is preferred.

Special Requests:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
All RTO must be final and accurate; any additional RTO requested after offer acceptance will not be approved.

Unit Details:
Patient population includes neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatric patients, adults, and geriatric patients.
Travelers may be asked to orient students or new hires if needed.

Shift & Scheduling:
Will work every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Floating Requirements:
Will float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford campuses as needed.
Travelers should expect to rotate through all areas of the hospital, including the NICU and pediatric units. The frequency of floating is dependent on census and staffing needs at the time, so while it may vary, the expectation is that staff are prepared to support all units as needed.
