Travel Nurse (RN) - Dialysis Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 years of RN experience with at least one (1) recent year experience in dialysis is required.

Required Credentials:

• No temporary licenses accepted.
• All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance. ICU and ED RNs will also be required to take an on-site test in addition to the online pre-test.

Preferred Credentials:

• Professional nursing certification preferred.

Unit Details:

• Dialysis ratios: 1:2 (RN:patient) or 1:3 (RN+CCHT:patient).
• Ability to perform bedside and peritoneal dialysis. Nurses and Certified Dialysis Techs prepare and perform dialysis treatment on patients within the organization.
• Uses Fresenius machines and Gambro as needed. Training available if not familiar with Fresenius or Gambro.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
• Holidays as required. Every other weekend.
• Regional campus hours are Monday-Saturday 6:30-1900, with call taken on Sunday and after hours. Northport campus hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with call taken on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and after hours.
