Required Skills/Experience:
Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.
Strong endovascular experience is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Neurosurg, Surg Onc, and Robotics experience preferred.
Unit Details:
The assignment includes all 3s and 4s for cardiac and vascular procedures.
Shift & Scheduling:
Friday-Sun schedule.
Call is required for 48-60 hours every 4-week period, including weekend call.
Call may be scheduled on a day off or a worked day, and clinicians are rarely kept on call for the entire 12-hour shift.
If a staff call-out requires extended call coverage, the clinician may be offered the opportunity to leave early in the morning.
Two on-call rooms are available for staff when on call.
Floating Requirements:
The clinician is expected to float to General OR if needed.
The clinician may be asked to float between 3 campuses (Saint Josephs, University, and Midtown), typically with 1 day of notice due to scheduled cases; on-call remains only at the booked location.
