Unit Details:
The stepdown ratio is 1 RN to 2-3 patients.
Equipment includes Alaris pumps.
Procedures performed on the unit include IV starts, caths, holding for LPs, central line dressing changes, hemodynamic monitoring, trach care, tube feeding and placement, ICP monitoring, and ventilator management.
Shift & Scheduling:
In a 6-week schedule, must work 3 weekends.
Self-scheduling is available.
Floating Requirements:
Will float to Peds and NICU.
