Required Skills/Experience:
2 years' current experience in Pediatric ICU.
At least 1 travel assignment required.
Preferred Credentials:
Trauma course preferred.
Unit Details:
Patient population ranges from newborn to age 21.
Clinical context includes respiratory failure, metabolic disorders, seizure disorders, multiorgan failure, shock, toxic ingestions, ECMO, and ventricular assist devices.
Surgical cases include extensive general, cardiac, thoracic, transplant, orthopedic, and neurologic procedures.
Medication administration includes continuous infusions and intermittent medications (narcotics, vasopressors, diuretics, PN/IL), as well as IVP, PCAs, PO, and GT/JT administration.
Shift & Scheduling:
Rotating 7A/7P shifts.
