Required Skills/Experience:
• 2 years of strong Level 3 and/or Level 4 NICU experience.
• EVDs, Camino device (ICP and temp monitoring device), management of critical care vasoactive drip titration, management of invasive lines – ART lines/CVP, aseptic and sterile techniques, basic dressing changes, ventilator and trach management, HOFV management, oral/nasal suctioning, g-tube/j-tube management, feeding tubes, chest tubes, epidurals, PCAs, sedation and analgesic drip management, foley insertion and management, Alaris and Medfusion pump management, bedside procedures with providers, discharge skills, CRRT experience, baby side of ECMO (manager has been flexible on EVD, ICP, ECMO, and CRRT exp)

Special Requests: Must have manager approval on first time travelers, as this will depend on current staffing.
Shift & Scheduling:
• Weekend Rotation: Will be required to work 2 Fridays and 2 Mondays, plus every other weekend (Sat/Sun) every 6-week schedule.
• On Call, Call Back Requirements: No call for travelers, if the NICU cannot utilize them, they may be floated to similar units as listed above
• Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work holidays as scheduled.
Floating Requirements: Neonatal PCU, Gen Peds – will float as needed to Pediatric CVICU, PICU, and general Peds unit as a helping hand unless they have prior experience in any of these populations.
