Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Experience working in adult ICU, ER, nursery (Level 1), and Med Surg floors. ER experience must include treating pediatric patients needing intubation and mechanical ventilation. Nursery experience must include participation on the resuscitation team and attending high-risk deliveries/C-sections. Experience with the unit equipment listed below is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: NICU and PICU experience preferred so the candidate is comfortable and competent treating newborns and critically ill pediatric patients in the ER.
Special Requests: Travel pairs are not accepted.
Unit Details: Uses Drager V500 ventilators, V60 BiPAP, Hamilton T-1 transport ventilator, Airvo high-flow oxygen units, Neopuff, and Ram cannula.
Shift & Scheduling: No call.
Floating Requirements: RT floats throughout the hospital, caring for newborn to adult patients.
