Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: Skill in medication administration and evaluating medication effects.

Skill in preparing patients for procedures and managing post-operative care.

Skill in IV venipuncture and blood administration

Required Credentials: College Diploma of Nursing

Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO)

Special Requests: Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Shift: Rotation

Holiday Shifts: Rotation

Floating Requirement: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

Floats to various inpatient units including Medical-Oncology, Surgical-Ortho, Cardiovascular Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, Mental Health Unit, and Acute Rehab.

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
